Stern Stewart & Co. was founded in New York City in 1982 by Joel M. Stern and G. Bennett Stewart III, focusing on value-based management. After strong growth across the world from Latin America to Africa and Asia, it was the European office that evolved the brand to a broad strategy boutique that – once more – spread all over the world. However, the spirit of New York City still runs in our veins. Flat hierarchies and a can-do attitude are values that drive our success. The sky is the limit and things are always possible until proven otherwise.

Now headquartered in Munich, Stern Stewart Industries was initiated by our own management buy-out of New York based Stern Stewart & Co. in 2003.
